Rural Legal Clinic - Immigration

Description:

Featuring The Orlando Justice Center

FCASV’s rural legal clinic functions as a type of virtual “walk-in” office hour(s) for your sexual violence related civil legal questions, discussion of other legal concerns/trends you are seeing, and the opportunity to exchange resources with other certified sexual assault programs in the state. While we center the needs of geographically marginalized (rural) communities, we encourage all advocacy staff at our sexual assault centers to attend. We also encourage participation by allied partners who want to know more about the civil legal remedies available to survivors. Our upcoming Rural Legal Clinic will feature the Orlando Justice Center answering questions about immigration.

During the registration process, you will have an opportunity to ask any legal questions you currently have. Having this information ahead of time allows our legal team/partners to prepare and do any necessary research needed to comprehensively address your questions. You are also welcomed to ask new questions that come up during the clinic and we will follow up with notes and answers to those and anything we may not have time to cover during the call.
