Rural Advocates' Meeting

Winter holiday themed promotional graphic with event details (date, time, and location) listed on a white background inside a winter wreath. The winter wreath is made of conifers with pinecones and red berries.

Description:

Rural advocates’ meetings are intended to foster community, remote support, peer sharing, learning, and creativity among Florida’s rural sexual assault advocates. While intended to be less formal than traditional training sessions, the learning environment fostered at these meetings provides advocates with new activities, tools, and ideas to implement in their own communities. Advocates serving rural communities part-time are also welcome!

This meeting is co-facilitated by the current Rural Project Team and will feature 4 experiential, hands-on learning opportunities. It is preferred that SA advocates who register stay for the entire meeting as the activities build upon each other.

Facilitators
:

Eglindina Diaz Quintana (ACT), Eva Fiallos-Diaz (FCASV), Diana Hernandez (SPARCC), Jessica Johnston (SPARCC), and Grisela Santizo Soto (ACT).

Notes:
