Women’s Center of Jacksonville
Sarah Wiese
Sarah Wiese is the Director of Program Operations at the Women's Center of Jacksonville. She graduated from the University of North Florida’s Criminal Justice and Criminology program. Her professional experience encompasses more than ten years in the field of victim advocacy, seven of those years in leadership at WCJ directing the advocacy and forensic exam programs. Sarah has extensive experience providing education and training to law enforcement, healthcare professionals, social service professionals, and college students. She co-chairs the Sexual Assault Interagency Council, serves on the Board of the Jacksonville Mayor's Sexual Assault Advisory Council, served as Victim Services Committee co-chair with the Northeast Florida Human Trafficking Coalition, and is proud to serve as a Board member for the Florida Council Against Sexual Violence.
Away from work, Sarah enjoys all things nature and outdoors, and has been known to escape into the wilderness for weeks at a time. When escaping is impossible, a few hours bike riding on a local trail or relaxing in her backyard is the next best thing.
