E. Rene Boone is a dedicated professional serving as the Program Manager with Palm Beach County Department of Public Safety Division of Victim Services & Certified Rape Crisis Center. With a tenure spanning back to 1994, Rene's journey with Victim Services has been marked by a relentless commitment to aiding victims of violent crimes, including homicide, domestic violence, and sexual assault.
Originally hailing from North Carolina, Rene made the conscious decision to relocate to Palm Beach County to contribute to the vital work of Victim Services. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Western Carolina University, a foundation that has undoubtedly enriched her ability to understand and support survivors.
Rene's ascent within Victim Services reflects her exemplary dedication and leadership. Beginning as a Victim Advocate, she steadily progressed to roles of increasing responsibility, culminating in her recent promotion to Sexual Assault Program Manager in 2024. Throughout her career, Rene has demonstrated a willingness to tackle challenging situations.
Her professional growth is complemented by her commitment to ongoing training and community engagement. Rene has completed FEMA, SERT and ICS trainings, equipping her with essential skills to serve the community during times of emergency. Additionally, she is an active member of various crisis response teams, including the Florida Crisis Response Team, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Child Abduction Response Team (CART), and is Co-Chair of Palm Beach County’s Sexual Assault Response Team (SART).

From commendations by the West Palm Beach Police Department, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office to being appointed to Palm Beach State College’s Criminal Justice Advisory Board, her impact on the field of victim advocacy is profound.
