Theresa Prichard, Esq.

Associate Director and General Counsel

Theresa provides technical assistance regarding sexual violence legal issues across the state and manages FCASV’s legal services. Her primary areas of focus are victims’ legal rights as well as policy and legislative advocacy.  Before joining FCASV in January of 2014, she spent over five years as an attorney at Legal Services of North Florida representing domestic and sexual violence survivors in immigration and family law matters. She graduated from the Florida State University College of Law in 2008, where she advocated for children in prison as a member of the Children’s Advocacy Center at FSU (now Public Interest Law Center), and clerked at Legal Services of North Florida as a Florida Bar Foundation Fellow. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of South Florida.  She lives in Tampa with her husband Tom, a high school biology teacher, and enjoys cooking, reading, and assorted and various aquatically-based recreational activities.
