Reaching Out. Coming Together. 2018 Summit

FCASV’s Biennial Summit took place in Naples, FL during June 2018. The Summit featured three remarkable keynote speakers who presented on: how centering the most marginalized survivors can liberate everyone; an exploration, through a one-woman play, into how everyone in a community is hurt by sexual violence, and how laughter can be an unexpected first step towards healing, and; why women of color do not report gender-based violence and offering non-traditional pathways to healing.

FCASV hosted more than 30 workshops presented by experts in the state and nationally, and several tracks highlighted different topics in the field like serving incarcerated survivors, creating community partnerships, and even FCASV’s first-ever Spanish language mini-track.
